On the aftermath of the Presidential Election multiple media outlets in Florida and abroad emerged recommending donating to CAIR-Florida and other civil-rights and social welfare groups. Hear their appeal:

Miami New Times:
“The public gave the Republican Party a blank check after Trump ran on a platform of open hostility toward immigrants, Mexicans, women, Muslims, and virtually every other marginalized group in U.S. society.

Despair comes easily in times like this. But there's a cure: In Miami, dozens of civil-rights and social-welfare groups will need all the resources they can muster.”

If you're so inclined, you can help. Here's where to start:Civil Rights...

CAIR Florida: The Sunshine State's offshoot of the national Council of American-Islamic Relations, the Tampa-based CAIR Florida commits money and legal resources to Muslim victims of hate crimes and fights police and government profiling of Islamic people.

Tampa Bay Times:

“Having trouble accepting the new world? We hear you. The majority of voters in the United States voted for a president who didn't win, and that's a bitter pill. It's time to shake it off and work with what we've got. There are big ways to effect change in the world, but the first step is often small. Here are a few suggestions for a beginning.

Give. One friend's daughter turned her feelings into action by donating to Planned Parenthood (plannedparenthood.org) and the Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (www.cairflorida.org).

Another media outlet recommending contributing to CAIR-Florida was VIX.com an outlet from Batanga Media, the largest independent digital media and content company for the U.S. Hispanic market, Latin America and Brazil.

VIX:
